 皆様、こんにちは。ふねきちさんのところのBBSでも投稿したのですが、こちらでも紹介させていただきます。実は、私と英国のBruce Peter氏と共著で、「Japanese Ferries（日本のフェリー）」という本を書きました。 この4月に、Bruce Peter氏他3名と一緒に旅行しまして、その時に出てきたのが、この本の企画で、5月以降、原稿書きに追われたのですが、何とか原稿が完成に近づき、今年（2012年）のクリスマスまでには出版される見込みとなりました。 版元は、Ferry Publicationsという英国マン島の出版社で、フルカラー、160ページの正方形の本です。ただ、使用言語が英語なのが誠に恐縮なのですが（苦笑）、これは元々、英語圏の皆さんに日本のフェリーを紹介する意図で書いたものです。 http://www.ferrypubs.co.uk/product.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=&P_ID=589 内容は、大阪商船の内航客船の話から始まり、瀬戸内海の関西汽船の観光船、そして鉄道連絡船100年の歴史、カー・フェリーの歴史をたどり、更にはヨーロッパやアジアの元日本船についてもレポートするという大風呂敷を広げたものとなっております（笑）。 主としてヨーロッパの皆さんに、日本のフェリーに乗船してもらいたいという隠れた意図もあるのですが、日本のフェリーの概要を知る読みものとして、あるいは写真集としても楽しめるようにしたつもりです。 日本のAmazon.co.jpでも予約を受け付けており、価格は2,760円、2012年12月30日が発売日となっています。「Japanese Ferries」で検索していただけると、予約ができます。 因みにこの本は、印税収入ゼロです（苦笑）。つまり報酬を得ることを目的としていないものです。日本にこういう出版形態があるのかどうかは知りませんが、私もBruce Peter氏も、全くの「只働き」であります（苦笑）。なお、この10月に函館を旅行した際に撮影した写真も掲載しております。「ナッチャンRera」の話も書きましたし、青森で撮影した写真も掲載しました。 Japanese Ferries Japan is a nation of islands, connected by numerous ferries of a wide variety of types and sizes.
